
About This Training
The Working Mind Training is evidence-based mental health training designed to support employees and managers in building awareness, reducing stigma and strengthening mental well-being in the workplace. It provides participants with a foundational understanding of mental health and how it shows up in the workplace. Using real-world examples, interactive discussion and applied exercises, participants learn how to recognize changes in mental well-being, reduce stigma and engage in supportive conversations.
The Wellness Council of Indiana (WCI) delivers both employee-focused and manager-focused training to employers across Indiana.
Training Benefits and Learning Outcomes
What Participants Learn
Participants will learn how to understand and use the Mental Health Continuum as a practical tool, recognize stress and early warning signs, and build skills for reducing stigma in the workplace. The training also focuses on providing supportive workplace conversations and introduces resilience-building strategies that employees and leaders can apply in everyday situations.
A rotating schedule of employee and manager The Working Mind Training in-person sessions is offered throughout the year and is open to employers statewide.
