Opioid Overdose Response (Naloxone) Training FAQ
Open trainings are available to employers across Indiana. These sessions are hosted by WCI and include participants from multiple organizations.
Participants will learn how to recognize the signs of an overdose, understand what Naloxone/Narcan is and how it works, and follow step-by-step actions that can save a life in an emergency.
Naloxone & Opioid Overdose Response Training is designed for employees at all levels and is especially valuable for HR professionals, supervisors, managers, wellness and safety teams, ERG leaders and any employee wanting to strengthen supportive communication skills.
Naloxone & Opioid Overdose Response Training is NOT a train the trainer model. We suggest you invite all staff you would like to learn about this content to our training.
Here is what the training experience looks like from start to finish:

This interactive, scenario-based training focuses on applying skills in realistic workplace situations. - Receive follow-up resources
After completing and passing an in-person session, participants receive digital tools and guides to use in individual workplaces.
